    Hello, my name is Gwen Mead, the owner of Dress-A-Chair.  The idea for the business came about when my own daughter, Heather, was planning her wedding.  She was married in a church which supplied the usual, unattractive folding chairs for guests. We couldn’t locate any covers for them, so my mother sewed 100 covers that saved the day.  We began renting them to other event planners and they became the foundation for Dress-A-Chair.  (Read More…)
