Choosing the perfect gift can be quite a responsibility – almost as challenging as choosing a unique venue for that special occasion.  Fortunately, there’s a place where events and gifts are customized and personalized for that one-of-a-kind advantage.

Hello, my name is Brigette Caldwell, the owner of The Gift Garden in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  I moved to Oklahoma after living 15 years in Hawaii running a collection agency.  The island is almost as beautiful as the cost of living is high, so I moved here about two years ago to purchase an affordable home.

 I continued working in the collection field for a while, but decided I’d rather do something that made people smile rather than try to avoid me.  I had always enjoyed creating gift baskets, party favors and invitations and I received quite a few compliments.  So, I began expanding that hobby into a home business while transitioning out of collections.  The business grew so quickly that I opened a store in June of 2008 and will soon be moving to a new location so I can offer a party room for classes and events.

Gift baskets are a specialty at The Gift Garden.  I customize then for all sorts of occasions, corporate and personal.  I make my own soap, bath and body products and carry a new mineral make-up line, so these can be purchased individually or included in a lovely basket for birthdays, weddings, hostess gifts, and bridal parties.  I also design incredibly cute baby shower baskets and a “diaper cake.”  I use diapers to create a faux cake and decorate it with small baby supplies.  It makes a perfect centerpiece, as well as a unique gift! 

At The Gift Garden, you’ll find a variety of Made-In-Oklahoma items sure to be appreciated by out-of-town guests.  Food, candles, jewelry, hair accessories, cards and gifts are all here, as well as items made in Hawaii.   I also have a number of books from which to select and order invitations and announcements for weddings, baby showers and announcements.

I’m looking forward to the move to a larger location in the near future, so I can open my new Party Room.  It will accommodate up to 15 guests for birthdays and showers.  I plan on incorporating classes into the parties, such as soap making or custom scenting of bath and body products.  Imagine getting together and creating your very own custom scent for the bridal party..or eye shadows..or lotions!   Catering will be available from a number of nearby restaurants.  I’m even planning on having soap making parties for the kids and so much more.
